A world hangs in the balance. Krypton stands ready to tear itself apart. What really happened to Krypton that caused Jor-El to rocket is only son into space to eventually land on earth? What caused the destruction of Krypton and can you stop it before it happens again?

The Kryptonian Conflict

24 Hour Scenario Game

Krypton was experiencing an unprecedented time of peace and prosperity. Famine and disease were virtually unknown to the people of Krypton and through advances in science the people lived in a virtual Eden. The people of Krypton were just beginning to spread through their solar system, colonizing three other worlds. Regardless of the state of peace and prosperity, Krypton kept a standing army attached to their space program, fearful of attracting the attention of an interstellar aggressor.

Much to the dismay of all, the aggressor came from within Krypton. There were some factions within the Kryptonian people who wanted more; more riches, more control, more power, one man rose to bring these factions together with frightful efficiency.

General Dru-Zod, once Military Director of the Kryptonian Space Center. After the destruction of one of Krypton’s the moons, Wegthor (caused by the renegade scientist Jax-Ur) he was removed from duty in disgrace by the ruling counsel of Krypton. Zod is charged with gross negligence of duty and sentenced to execution. The house of El petitions the counsel to show clemency and exile Zod and Jax-Ur into the Phanton Zone instead. Zod was never one to take defeat gracefully.

Through Jax-Ur’s science, Zod and Jax-Ur escape the Phantom Zone. Zod immediately begins to gather old military allies. Close to half of the standing military and a number of Krypton’s scientific elite (Jax-Ur among them) revolted and rallied around Zod. Zod decided that the time was right to usher in a new Kryptonian world order, the Dru-Zurl.

The Kryptonian Counsel and Zod both turned to one man to assist them in the Dru-Zurl Revolt, Krypton’s leading scientist and prominent counsel member Jor-El. Jor-El immediately condemned Zod and his actions, earning him Zod’s hatred. The counsel was quick to name Jor-El as the Republic’s General and gave him complete control over the faithful Kryptonian military.

The battle was waged across the face of Krypton. Zod used weapons created by Jax-Ur that were both powerful and immoral in an attempt to destroy Jor-El and the Kryptonian forces. Jor-El always seemed a step ahead of the Dru-Zurl and Zod realizes that he is losing the war. Zod has Jax-Ur begin working on a weapon which would change the face of Krypton forever. This weapon is a variation of the same work which caused the destruction of Wegthor. Zod desides that if he can not rule Krypton, Krypton must die. He’ll use Jax-Ur’s technology to destroy Krypton and escape into the Phantom Zone.

Fearing Zod has gone completely mad and will attempt to use Jax-Ur’s experiments, Jor-El initiates a final assault to stop Zod’s “final solution” before Krypton suffers the same fate as it’s moon.

Tommy Gun Terror

24 Hour Scenario Game

It’s the late 1920's and on one May evening in South Buffalo, seven well-dressed men were found riddled with bullets inside the Bethlehem Steel Plant. They had been lined up against a wall with their backs to their executioners and shot to death. With the exception of one unidentified man these men were actually cops posing as mobsters working under the leadership of gangster and bootlegger, mafia boss Victor Franchetti.

During the height of prohibition and the never-ending competition between rival gangs, there was also internal competition inside some of the various mobs themselves. Marco "Pops" Manchino was Victor’s 2nd in command of the Franchetti Mafia, but he disagreed with how Victor was running the neighborhood. Pops had ambitions of one day running things himself, to bring more of respectability to the area and cut down the violence. Well that all changed for Pops on the night of the executions. The one unidentified man was actually "Pops" son Anthony who was in the police force and helping his old man expose Victor so control could pass to Pops.

As far as most people knew, Pops only had four sons, all raised into Franchetti mob family. Thomas, the oldest, was even engaged to Victors only Daughter Mara. Most people only knew Anthony as a fatherless paperboy that Pops took a liking to, not his fifth son born to a dancer after Pop’s first wife died. Anthony was kept far from the “family” at the request of his mother. He became a police officer never turning on his gangster father.

Victor was suspicious. There were rumors of undercover cops infiltrating his family. He thought this new guy Anthony looks just a little bit too much like Pops. Victor decided sweep the family clean and Anthony along with the other moles were added to the Bethlehem Bloodshed List just to keep "Pops" in check and send a little warning to the cops.

Thomas was with the gunman the night of the massacre. He was stationed outside to act as look out thinking this was just a simple robbery. Hearing gunfire, he came inside against Victor’s orders and recognized Anthony’s body. He was stricken with guilt not being able to prevent his father’s young friend’s death. Thomas now had to tell his father what has happened. Upon hearing the news Pops became enraged and told Thomas that Anthony was his half brother and working with him to bring down Victor.

Now all Pops wants is revenge and vows to bring Victor down by any means possible! Pops and his sons decide to collect evidence against Victor and take everything to the cops. The police, grateful for any information on the death of their undercover officers in the Bethlehem Bloodshed murders, offer to take the Manchino boys and Pops in protective custody. The DA offers to deputize them allowing them to take a active role in the destruction of Victor Franchetti. Hence began the war between the Franchetti Mafia and the Manchino Family with the bolstered aid of the local police force.

The Iron Triangle

24 Hour Scenario Game

From January 8th – January 26th, 1967, the U.S. military conducted ‘Operation Cedar Falls’ in the Cu Chi region of Vietnam. The goal of this operation was to root out Viet Cong base camps in the so-called Iron Triangle. The operation involved nearly 16,000 American and 14,000 South Vietnamese troops. The Viet Cong chose not to fight and melted away into a vast complex system of tunnels in the jungle turning the operation into a series of running battles and bunker standoffs.

The Iron Triangle is generally defined on the southwest by the Saigon River, on the east by the Thi Tinh River, and on the north by a line running west from Ben Cat to the town of Ben Suc on the Saigon River. To the north lies the Thanh Dien Forestry Reserve. The Iron Triangle has been characterized as a dagger pointed at Saigon and, being only twenty kilometers away, was the enemy's largest haven close to that city. The area was heavily fortified and known to contain the Viet Cong headquarters for Military Region IV which directed military, political, and terrorist activities in the Saigon-Gia Dinh capital region complex. Viet Cong control of the Iron Triangle permitted the enemy forces to dominate key transportation routes in the surrounding area. This important center for controlling and supporting enemy operations had to be attacked decisively and in force if the attack were to succeed in rupturing and neutralizing the control structure.

During the last days of Operation Cedar Falls, the majority of the Iron Triangle has been cleared out. The Viet Cong has one foothold left, their largest tunnel system which contains the bulk of the command structure in the area. The U.S. military must clear out this last strategic position to keep control of Saigon. The Viet Cong must defend the Triangle to keep the powerful position for the future invasion of Saigon and seem the American from their country.
